About
![]() After learning how to use a Petri camera i bought from my Troop Leader for 114 Cypriot pounds back in 1981 whilst serving in the British Army, i did nothing about taking pictures until 10 years later when i got a job with a local paper in south London after a renewed interest in photography. After 4 years at the South London Press i moved on to UK national papers, working for the Sunday papers then onto one of the biggest news agencies in the UK, The Press Association where i stayed for 4 years. The Evening Standard was my next move and after 18 months i left there to freelance for a year before moving to The Sun newspaper where i have been for the last six years. I have traveled to various parts of the world with my job and have and won two photographic awards along the way. After reaching 50, i have had a new interest in cycle camping. A bit late in life i know but i do find the freedom of going off on the bike and being able to stop where i like quite liberating. I hope to add more pictures of my bike travels as i get them and before my knees pack in. |
